Project Management Seminar Series No. 2 - Human Resource Management

pmi2The Human Resource Management Seminar was successfully held on 23 July 2011. This is the 2nd round of the Project Management (PM) Seminar Series, which is jointly organized by Institute of Industrial Engineers (HK), Project Management Institute Hong Kong Chapter (PMIHK) – Engineers’ Club, HKIE Project Management Group (PMG) (Patron Division: MMNC), HKIE Young Members Committee (YMC), Institution of Mechanical Engineers – HK Branch and American Society of Mechanical Engineers – HK Section.

Managing human resources in projects involve skills in developing good working relationships with fellow professionals. In this seminar, we were honored to invite Mr. David Wong, the Chairperson of OCI Limited, to discuss about ways of executives and managers in global MNCs applying critical people’s skills to deliver great business results. An interactive sharing session was also held with the audience on SWOT analysis, MBTI, and the experience in building relationship with peers and boss.

At the end of the seminar, Miss Vincci Shek, the President of Institute of Industrial Engineers (HK), presented a souvenir to David to thank for his invaluable presentation and fruitful discussion.
