Joint Society Secondary School Promotion 2011

1aJoint Society Secondary School Promotion 2011, One-day Workshop – 24 hours@Smart.Home, was successfully held on 23rd July at the University of Hong Kong with over 100 participants. This year, IIE (HK) is honoured to join as a supporting organization of this meaningful annual event which aims to promote engineering to secondary students.

Through a series of seminars and games, students gained knowledge of smart home and smart grid and learned about the importance of “Living Green” in an atmosphere full of happiness and joyfulness. One of the event highlights was group presentations in which students applied the engineering knowledge they gained from the seminars together with their innovations to design their own smart home.

The workshop was a great success and was extremely beneficial to students to enrich their knowledge and learning experience in engineering. We look forward to another successful Joint Society Secondary School Promotion next year!
